As best I can remember, it was Pokemon. Which I assume was everyone’s first. I was very young at the time though, so I never understood what it was meant to be an anime.

Following that, was Sailor Moon and Cardcaptors, which I still didn’t realise were classes as Anime.

The first Anime I watched under the pretense that I now understood what Anime was, was Fullmetal Alchemist. Which to this day is still one of my favourites.
